I just wanted to drop you a line and share my Ducktrap experience. Every year my Mom buys a side of smoked salmon for me and my Dad. Dad always preferred Scottish salmon so that's what mom always got for us. This year when Mom ordered the salmon she mistakenly ordered the Ducktrap Salmon. When she realized the mistake it was already Christmas. She was terribly upset about it.

Since Dad passed away last year I was the only one receiving the Salmon so I told her I was sure the Ducktrap would be just as good as the Scottish fish. In truth I was not expecting it to be as good as the Scottish salmon. I have tried many other smoked varieties including northwest and Alaskan and have not been impressed.

I served the salmon for friends and family on New Year's Eve. I must tell you that I found it absolutely incredible. My guests were also very impressed with the flavor and quality. It was quite the topic of conversation and a complete hit.

I'm not motivated to write often but when the quality of a product is outstanding I feel the need to let the folks know they are doing an exceptional job.

Somehow I think my Dad would be quite pleased with the Maine Salmon. Thanks for making our Holidays special. Regards to you and your families
