Ducktrap shellfish and pates are now arriving to you in a new package.  They are easier to open, reseal and reuse.  Please feel free to share with us any comments you may have.

Herring

Ducktrap River of Maine is pleased to announce the addition of Herring to our premium all natural product line.  Our customers have asked and now we will provide you with the highest quality herring center cuts in wine sauce and herring center cuts cream style in the marketplace.  Our herring is OU Kosher certified.

Herring is a great tasting fish with a high content of essential Omega 3. It is versatile and can be eaten for breakfast as well as for lunch or as an appetizer.  Herring is part of an old European tradition and due to its great health benefits it has also gained interest in the younger generation.

Ducktrap River of Maine takes home two Sofi Awards.  

In the Outstanding New Product for 2008 category Ducktrap received an award for our Smoke Roasted Chilean Sea Bass.

In the Outstanding Perishable Food Service category Ducktrap recieved an award for our Smoke Roasted Atlantic Salmon.

The awards are a part of the Fancy Food Show held in New York by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NAFST).  Past awards Ducktrap has received have been for Outstanding Product Line and Outstanding Meat, Pate, Seafood.  Ducktrap continues to prove our commitment to you by providing the highest quality product exceeding our competitors with the most prized smoked seafood.
